All of this was a demonstration of the blessings God intended at His original creation. If you or a loved one is in need of healing today, remember that Jesus is your Great Physician. When He preached the Gospel of the Kingdom, He healed "ALL kinds of sickness and ALL kinds of disease" (Matthew 4:23).
I am the Lord who heals you.
And said If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God and wilt do that which is right in his sight and wilt give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes I will put none of these diseases upon thee which I have brought upon the Egyptians for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
He heals your diseases.
Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all his benefits Who forgiveth all thine iniquities who healeth all thy diseases.
By His stripes we are healed.
Surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows yet we did esteem him stricken smitten of God and afflicted But he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed All we like sheep have gone astray we have turned every one to his own way and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
The Lord will heal our broken hearts, set us free from bondage and bring light in darkness.
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound
I will restore health to you and heal you.
For I will restore health unto thee and I will heal thee of thy wounds saith the Lord because they called thee an Outcast saying This is Zion whom no man seeketh after.
I will bring health and healing.
Behold I will bring it health and cure and I will cure them and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
Those who fear Him will feel His warmth with healing.
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings and ye shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stall
Just as Jesus showed compassion by laying his hands on lepers and delivering people from their afflictions, so he is personally concerned for each of us and ready to meet our needs .
And all bare him witness and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth And they said Is not this Joseph s son And he said unto them Ye will surely say unto me this proverb Physician heal thyself whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum do also here in thy country And he said Verily I say unto you No prophet is accepted in his own country But I tell you of a truth many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias when the heaven was shut up three years and six months when great famine was throughout all the land But unto none of them was Elias sent save unto Sarepta a city of Sidon unto a woman that was a widow And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet and none of them was cleansed saving Naaman the Syrian And all they in the synagogue when they heard these things were filled with wrath And rose up and thrust him out of the city and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built that they might cast him down headlong But he passing through the midst of them went his way And came down to Capernaum a city of Galilee and taught them on the sabbath days And they were astonished at his doctrine for his word was with power And in the synagogue there was a man which had a spirit of an unclean devil and cried out with a loud voice Saying Let us alone what have we to do with thee thou Jesus of Nazareth art thou come to destroy us I know thee who thou art the Holy One of God,
Christ bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds we have been healed.
1st Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we being dead to sins should live unto righteousness by whose stripes ye were healed.
No matter how many promises are made, they are yes and amen in Christ. Keep in mind that Christ has fulfilled the Law for righteousness and you are in him. His faithfulness qualifies you for any and all promises, not your ability to keep the Law or remain faithful. Now it's up to you to believe in your heart that you are in Him and He is your righteousness. Remember that you are a joint-heir with Jesus as you read thru these Old Testament promises.
These promises are all from God. Some are for a specific time, some for specific purpose, some for specific people and others are for everyone. So, as you read these, invite the Holy Spirit to show you how these promises reveal His character, purpose, plan and hope for your life and all those who are in Christ.
