God is the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from him.
2nd Corinthians 1:3-4
Blessed be God even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort Who comforteth us in all our tribulation that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
God has established, anointed and sealed us with His Spirit.
2nd Corinthians 1:21-22
Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ and hath anointed us is God Who hath also sealed us and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
We, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
2nd Corinthians 3:18
But we all with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
After a person is regenerate, old value systems, priorities, beliefs, loves, and plans are gone. Evil and sin are still present, but the believer sees them in a new perspective no longer in control of us.
2nd Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creature old things are passed away behold all things are become new.
God is able to make grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need.
2nd Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you that ye always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work.
The Lord promises us that He will reveal his power in our weakness.
2nd Corinthians 12:9-10
And he said unto me My grace is sufficient for thee for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches in necessities in persecutions in distresses for Christ s sake for when I am weak then am I strong.
